点评：I've been to Leu Gardens many times since childhood and always appreciate the beauty and quiet of the place. This time, the quiet was disrupted by multiple work crews installing decor for the gardens' nighttime Christmas event. There was equipment taking up entire sections of the sidewalks, the constant beeping of equipment in reverse, loose pieces of decor lying on pathways where kids could touch them and workers yelling back and forth.
I worked at a major theme park installing and striking holiday decor for years. We did it at nighttime so we didn't inconvenience park guests who had paid for an experience without high-reaches and cords all over the place. Leu Gardens probably saves money by not paying third party companies overnight work rates, and the work can likely be done faster without needing work lights, but the night event also generates additional revenue. Daytime visitors shouldn't be charged full price daytime admission for a lesser experience. If they'd told us coming in to expect all the disruption and offered a discount on days like this, no problem aside from the loose items left lying around.
