Lovely setting. Welcoming staff. Good food and wine. Very popular.

点评：We visited on a cold and wet Saturday and wondered if an event was on as we had to park in the overflow car park. Turns out there were several functions on and the place was buzzing. Notwithstanding this the staff found us a table, albeit outside (luckily the rain had stopped), but with a good view over the lake and the vineyards.
The "Pecking" menu had a selection of nibbles (olives, oysters, dukkah and olive oil) plus some more substantial dishes (cheese and meat platters, home-made pies, toasties and vegetable soup). We had the seasonal vegetable soup with sourdough rye and it was very tasty. We accompanied this with a bottle of very drinkable Pinot Noir.
We spent a very pleasant hour or so just whiling away the afternoon.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
