As we started our hike, we walked through the charming village of Passu, surrounded by golden fields and framed by the iconic Passu Cones. The trail gradually ascended, offering spectacular views of the Hunza River and the massive ice formations ahead. The terrain was a mix of rocky paths, moraines, and occasional steep sections, making the journey both challenging and exhilarating.
Reaching the glacier was a surreal moment. The vast expanse of ice, with its deep crevasses and shimmering blue hues, felt like stepping into another world. The sound of melting ice and distant avalanches echoed through the valley, adding to the raw beauty of the place. We took our time soaking in the views, capturing the moment in photographs, and simply appreciating the grandeur of nature.
