Arctic Fox Experience
Ark Wildlife Park & Exotic Animal Sanctuary的点评
点评：I visited Ark wildlife Park after gifting an arctic fox experience for a family member. Upon arrival, I was a little doubtful based on the look of the car park and entry; however the lady on reception was really helpful and friendly and was a big fan of Flekken; the savannah cat greeting people on arrival.
Whilst it’s a small place and would only take a couple hours seeing everything, pretty much all the animals have been rescued from the exotic pet trade, for example the caiman was rescued from living in someone’s bathtub in a London flat. Whilst some areas could do with a bit of updating, the money they do receive goes towards caring for these animals which I feel is much more important. Whilst we didn’t use them, I thought it was a nice touch of offering wellies for you to borrow due to the muddy areas particularly around the lake with the recent weather. The cakes in the cafe were also really good.
The arctic fox experience was really great and would recommend it to anyone. We started off with preparing some enrichment food, in our case we used puzzle treat toys before heading off to the enclosure. We got to spoon feed them dog food before giving them the puzzle mats. We were informed about previous experiences of some people getting nipped on the ankles by the mother of these foxes, so they now section her off for the spoon feeding part.
All in all, if you go expecting it to be like a big zoo you’ll be disappointed but we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely come back again.

总而言之，如果你期待这里像个大型动物园，可能会失望，但我们玩得很开心，肯定还会再来。
