Ark Wildlife Park & Exotic Animal Sanctuary的点评
点评：Visited today for our first time, live in Lincolnshire but wanted to try this park rather than usual other well known animal parks. Looked at the website and thought it looked great so took my grandson aged 5, his dad and my mum. On entering into the cafe my mum wanted a coffee so we ordered her one, there was no one to take our money for entering at the till so we had to ask the woman in the cafe if we could pay. Was over £50 for the four of us. Our first impression was the place is quite run down, unkempt and we se the large cat that pops into the window of the cafe was just pacing around and around in its small area and it was really hard to watch. You could see the groove in the grass where it had been circling around. On looking around lots of the animals looked sad, the enclosures were filled with old plastic toys in places and the dinosaur area was not good as they had seen better days. The ferrets were digging next to their water dish which was empty - I did tell the staff - and we didn’t see a lot in the reptile place, just a couple of snakes and some turtles, couldn’t see the spider, a lot of the enclosure were so dark and dingy you just couldn’t much at all. The whole place had a neglected feel about it and I did wonder if the cat at the entrance was getting any quality of life in his enclosure. I appreciate this is a charity rescue park and they have the best intentions but quality of life should come into it as well, just being alive isn’t always enough. I can’t stop thinking about the cat in the entrance found round and round 🥲 it was also expensive considering the quality and having been to Lincolnshire wildlife park a few weeks ago that seems like a lot better value and happier place for the animals to be.
