Good and transaction. Beware of construction!
维萨图依酒庄的点评
点评：Made reservations for a lunch hour wine tasting on a weekday in February. Unbeknownst to us, the majority of the vineyard was under construction. We arrived timely and were warmly greeted by the hostess and informed where to go for our tasting. Initially upon arriving we were one of 2 couples seated for the tasting but by the time we ended it was started to get busy. Demetrius was our host and he was timely with providing us pours so our glasses were never empty, which is exactly what we loved. For our tasting we were able to select 5-6 wines to taste. We loved the Port and La Merica and the prices were reasonable! Nonetheless, on a rainy day, it was extremely cozy to be in the enclosed barrel room. Unfortunately, I couldn’t seem to say anything was overly amazing about this winery. Demetrius was timely with pouring but it was transactional, “what wine do you want next?”, “oh that’s a good one”, “okay, you’re welcome.” For being the one of 2 couples when we arrived it would have been nice to either get some knowledge, history or background about the winery. Not to mention that the construction really eliminated the experience and the deli / shop were in trailers.
Overall, good wines for a reasonable price. Again, not sure if it was the construction or our host but something seemed a bit off.
