点评:This was our favorite hike of the trip, by far. We made it later in the day, started around 430 pm, took up about 3 hours round trip, this included that we took an extra 30 minutes to climb up the rocks to behind the waterfall! I do not recommend this to 90% of people who would take this trail as it is very dangerous, not on a maintained trail. The end of the maintained part of this trail does require maneuvering around boulders/rocks, but they are all on ground level so if you are fit you can easily make this, We did see an elderly lady who had made it all the way to this part but then had to turn back. You really can't see the waterfall unless you make it past this area unfortunately. It is a beautiful trail otherwise through. Definitely worth it if you make it over to the East side of Mount Hood. The entrance to the trail is right off the highway, parking was very easy to find at later in the day, there are closed in port-a-lets to use as restroom facilities, fairly decently maintained. There are park benches before the trail starts to sit and snack. No water fountains so be sure to bring enough food and water to make the hike properly. Overall I would rate it moderate-easy for most of it, but then it gets moderate-difficulty over the boulders. But nothing dangerous about it, other than if you choose to go off the maintained trail and climb the rocks to get behind the waterfall which we did, but like I said I don't recommend if you're trying to avoid danger.
