点评：We went into this Shakespeare themed escape room with fairly high expectations, largely based on the very positive reviews, but unfortunately we all left feeling disappointed.
When compared with other escape rooms we have done, this felt very basic in both concept and execution. The room relied heavily on similar puzzle types, with a strong focus on language and wordplay throughout. There was very little variety and no skill based or physical elements at all, which made the experience feel quite flat and repetitive.
The set up itself was also underwhelming. There was a lot of laminated text and printed images, which gave the room the feel of a school noticeboard rather than an immersive escape room environment. Overall presentation was poor and it was hard to feel drawn into the theme.
The welcome was genuinely friendly and the staff were pleasant, which is the one clear positive. Beyond that, however, the experience did not live up to expectations and we struggled to understand how it has accumulated such strong reviews.
