A Can't Miss Chance to walk among the Gorgeous Redwoods!

点评：After discovering that the best Redwoods are concentrated in a southern STATE park and a northern NATIONAL Park, we chose to visit both. The northern park is highlighted with a stop at the Trees of Mystery. You can't miss Paul Bunyan and Blue (huge) out front, but it is the magic inside you won't want to miss! For just $30 ($25 for seniors) you can do everything the park has to offer, including the Skywalk and the Gondola. The Skywalk is a rope bridge path between enormous redwoods and even if you are afraid of heights, the railings are reinforced and you will feel safe hundreds of feet above the ground. Must be able to climb several stairs and walk un-aided. The Gondola ride takes you to the top of the forest with an breath-taking observation deck to watch the mist roll in off the nearby ocean. There is a wonderful path through the park with various huge trees highlighted including the Cathedral Tree and the Towering Inferno. You exit through the gift shop and there are good restroom facilities to the north of the building. The dank, dark, magical smell of redwoods along with lots of photo ops will make you very glad you stopped here.
