Great day hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the beach

点评：Such a great day! We parked at the North parking area right by the changing rooms/beach area. We then hiked up the West Bluff Trail and returned on the same shore line just above water level on the Tumbling Rocks trail. This took us about 2 hours, including lots of stops to take pics and enjoy the view (which was spectacular). The start of the West Bluff Trail was the most difficult part of the trail as it has lots of stone "steps" (going up to 500 feet in elevation at times). But as it was all clean stone slabs to step on (no loose soil/gravel to slip on) it was manageable. Once past the stone steps, it was a regular hiking trail with gorgeous views. We were happy we started on the North side and went towards the south because it would have been much harder going down the stones than up (especially if you tire quickly or have weak knees). It was really neat going back along the Tumbling Rocks trail because we kept looking up and and were amazed that we had been all the way at the top earlier. Both trails were mostly shaded (sections of Tumbling Rocks was in full sun as we were there in the morning, but as the trail was easier, the full sun wasn't an issue.) Afterwards, we shopped the store and got some fast food there (food was adequate, nothing fancy). The 20-something year old in our group decided to go kayaking then while the rest of us enjoyed the view from the picnic tables and beach. There were tons of picnic tables around and the beach had very soft sand. The lake water was clear and clean. We stayed until late afternoon. This location, it's beautiful views, and the activities it offered were a highlight of our trip to Wisconsin. I would definitely recommend.
翻译：真是美好的一天！我们把车停在更衣室/海滩区旁边的北侧停车场。随后沿着西崖小径徒步上山，再沿着“翻滚岩石小径”沿着与水面几乎齐平的海岸线返回。整个过程大约耗时2小时，期间我们多次停下来拍照并欣赏沿途的绝美景色。西崖小径的起点是最艰难的一段，因为那里有很多石头“台阶”（海拔有时可升高至500英尺）。不过，地面上全是平整的石板（没有松散的泥土或碎石容易导致滑倒），所以还能应付。走过石阶之后，就是一条视野绝佳的普通徒步小径了。我们很庆幸是从北侧出发、朝南侧行走——因为如果要从这些石阶上往下走，难度会大得多（尤其是对于那些容易疲劳或膝盖无力的人而言）。重新沿着 Tumbling Rocks 小径走一遍真的很有趣，我们不停地抬头仰望，惊讶于自己早上居然能一路走到山顶。两条小径大部分时段都有树荫遮蔽（不过我们早上走 Tumbling Rocks 小径时有一段路是在烈日下，但由于这条路相对平缓，阳光倒也算不上什么问题）。之后，我们去商店逛了逛，还在那儿买了些快餐（食物还可以，不算什么美味佳肴）。我们一行人当中有个二十多岁的年轻人决定去划皮划艇，而我们其他人则坐在野餐桌旁或海滩上欣赏美景。周围有很多野餐桌，沙滩上的沙子也极其柔软。湖水清澈见底。我们一直待到傍晚。这个地方的绝美景致以及可参与的各类活动，堪称我们威斯康星之旅的亮点。我绝对推荐大家前来。
