点评:We (my husband, 6 year old and 2 year old and I) travelled up to Mannlichen where the kids had a little play before we started this trail ending at Holenstein. Luckily I had seen a TripAdvisor review left by someone else warning that although this is advertised as a family trail, it is quite challenging as it is mostly downhill, so we were slightly mentally prepared. We knew that it was not pushchair friendly and we were hoping our two year old would have walked part of it, although we did take the carrier. Unfortunately the two year old forgot how to use his legs, so ended up being carried by my husband pretty much the entire way. It was very hot (around 30°), so I wish we had set off a little earlier in the morning. There were lots of fun things to do along the way, including a little stream (where we stopped for our picnic) and a lovely playground (near the end), so it broke the journey up nicely. It did take us a good few hours to complete this and it was challenging, however we did enjoy it. I'm very glad I wore my hiking boots as both my husband and my 6 year old slipped in places. I would definitely recommend doing this if you don't mind the walk and you don't have bad knees.
