On this day we went to our annual whiskey distillery and chose Wolfburn Whiskey Distillery. Best choice we made to go here.
Wolfburn was one of the best distillery tours we have done and we have been on a lot of them. For the price especially it is worth it, you get 5 tasters and they were more than a wee dram. You even get to keep your glass at the end 😆
Jenifer our tour guide was amazing, due to the time of year we had a private tour of the whiskey distillery as it was only us there. Jenifer was so knowledgeable about the whole distillery, from 1821 when it first opened to the new one in 2013. She introduced who some of the workers were and what they did, she showed us the warehouse where we got to see all their kegs from sherry to bourbon from Jim Beam and Jack Daniels.
