The sunset view is spectacular
N首尔塔的点评
点评：If you’re in Seoul it’s a must to see this iconic landmark and the view from the Namsan park hill.
If you plan on coming for the sunset, start from Myeongdong about 2 hours ahead of time. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the cable car station through an interesting hilly neighbourhood scattered with appartments and small hotels.
Once at the cable car, the queue to buy tickets wasn’t too long but there was about a 20 minute wait to ride the cable car to the top.
If you haven’t already bought a love lock you will have an opportunity to buy one at the cable car gift shops both at the base or at the top of Namsan Hill.
Once at the top, head left to see the spectacular view and follow the love lock path to lead you to an even better viewing deck and of course the N Seoul Tower.
Entry and tickets to the tower observation platform are on the left side down the stairs. There are only two small elevators however they weren’t too busy even though it was Saturday night.
The top observation deck can get crowded but if you go down one floor near the bathrooms, there is an excellent opportunity to see the sunset (July).
If you’re with the kids and they have just purchased sweets at the candy bar or you’re feeling adventurous, consider a one way cable car ticket and walk through Namsan Park back down. It’s about 3km / 60min walk with well lit stairs and a wide sealed path. Many locals were walking and jogging and we felt very safe.
