点评:Allow 25 minutes from Artists Palette or 10-15 minutes from the Furnace Creek VC to reach this site seeing attraction's parking lot. The parking lot was decently sized, has vault toilets, and is paved with diagonal striping for angled parking. Remember to be respectful and kind to other park guests. Do note there is a 1/4 mile walk along an uphill paved trail to the top of the viewing point.
It was unexpectedly windy at the top of the elevated vista. I found three NP wayside placards, one on Exploring the Badlands, another From Wasteland to Wonderland, and the last Zabriskie Point. It was from one of these informational placards I learned that Zabriskie Point was named after Christian Zabriskie, the vice president and general manager of the Pacific Coast Borax Company. The magic here is the wonderful view of the colorful yellow and brown eroded badlands. As long as you don't plan to hike any of the trails or came to catch the sunrise/sunset, allow 15-20 minutes to marvel in awe at this beautiful landscape.
