点评：This is a place you go to remove the assault of sound from other people. The rolling water, the birds, the wind, the rain, the distant sound of ships calling out to one another. It's very relaxing. A good brain reset if you're having a crap day.
If you like to feed the seagulls, they are here to accommodate you. If you like to feed a fat pack of feral cats living in the rocks side by side with sea gulls (I watched a cat body rub a sea gull who didn't seem to mind), you can do that too, as one old couple clearly does. It's good entertainment. I think I counted 7 different cats, 5 of them quite fat.
Like the Cape Disappointment jetty out on the other peninsula, this looks to be a popular local haunt for just sitting in your vehicle to eat lunch or listen to the wind. Joggers and other cardio happen along the length. Dog walkers as well.
Fenced off coast guard station on the tip.
