点评：TBH the facilities are great and it is a nice enough place but the 47 pegs on holbar lake is ridiculous, greedy even because they know they will sell out, i went and there were instances of people having more than one person using a peg more than 2 rods, people casting over your lines, people trying to surface fish with bread hooking ducks honestly it was an absolute joke, well over 100 rods in the water meant it was so pressured hardly anything of note came out and i am not surprised, the fish will be feeding later when its safe they aren't daft, i get family friendly places but kids running about screaming and dead carp in the margins, not surprised with some of the practices i saw, people there with no unhooking mats despite supposedly nice carp, such a shame, nice day out to walk the dog, no place for a serious carp angler, cant speak for the other lakes but holbar at a weekend is far from relaxing or enjoyable
