On top of everything, two trains in nearly 4 1/2 hours
Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark的点评
点评:This is my 8th or 9th trip. By far, it has gone downhill. It pains me to say this as a rail fan. For more than 4 years, the funicular is out of service. You have to walk almost 200 steps to get up top where there is no restroom... and minimal protection from the weather. ( One pavilion for about 12 people). If you are not mobile, don't even bother. The view of eastbound trains is limited at best because of the unchecked vegetation at the fence line. The westbound ones are blocked substantially by NS main line vegetation. For this, they charge full fair. Maybe the curve was better before the U.S ceded operations 28 years ago This is by far the worst state treatment of rail related tourists.
By the way, it is my home state.

顺便说一句,这是我的家乡。
