Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark的点评
点评：As a youtuber with a railroad channel, this was a must while visiting Pennsylvania. Since all the photos I'd seen of the curve were from above, I assumed the viewing area would be above it, but it is at track level in the center of the curve, which limits the view as both approaches are blocked by trees, and in my opinion, limits the experience. It is still very cool, though, and the small park at the viewing area is really nice. The GP-9 on static display is cool but gets in the way of longer shots.
All the trains we saw gave the viewers a honk, and it was cool to see manned helpers! The view down into the valley is breathtaking!
The incline was down, so we had to climb the stairs, so if you have trouble with stairs, I suggest calling ahead to ensure the incline is in service.
If you're a railfan, it's still a must!
