点评:I had wanted to go to this Site for some time.
We were staying in Death Valley and it's about 2+ hours from the Furnace Creek area of the Park. You go through beautiful mountains to get there. As a side bonus, the Sierra Nevada is right there.
Large grounds with a large visitor center and gift shop. There is movie...I highly recommend it before viewing the exhibits inside and outside in free standing buildings. One can walk or drive...or both. We found it very sad (which is good) and it stayed with us the rest of that day. These folks lost almost everything...including their pets. Here they were, citizens of the United States and they had to endure this hardship just because they were Japanese . It is very windy in the area and the ranger said, it's like that most everyday. The buildings were so drafty. The Cemetary is beautiful.
Take your time. It's a very moving Site.
