点评：Second time staying in this amazing place & fishing Arthur’s Pool.
Looks like a second blank for me sadly. But not for trying.
Did as much research as possible before arriving again. Fished the methods I have read & used hook baits the fish have been caught on, but sadly nothing.
The weather has been perfect to catch carp. Plenty showing, especially in my quarter of the pool. Had a few liners & fierce ones. But nothing over the cord or on the bank.
Casted to fizzing with singles. Then left there for a few hours.
Baited lightly but often. Used singles. PVA mesh. Snowman, bottom baits, wafters & pop-ups. Fished through the night & gave the swim a rest half way through our stay to eat in the lovely onsite restaurant.
Even had my deeper out a couple of times, which is worth bringing by the way.
Fished to the island & the reeds on the far margin between the two lodges on our left.
Fished in open water. Deeper water & shallower water.
Two others in the lodges opposite have also blanked. But they were only fished from late morning until the sun went down.
Has it disheartened me? No! Blanks just make me more determined. So whilst here, we booked up to come for our third visit at the beginning of April, but this time for a week. Gluten for punishment lol
But it will be interesting to see what it fishes like in late spring. And hopefully warmer weather than the end of October.
A cradle, landing net & sling are provided. So leave yours at home. And a maximum of a size 10 hooks. So bring plenty with you. Or tie your rigs at home.
I think I will leave my bait at home next time. And buy some from reception. I may have to swallow my pride & speak to the fishery manager on how to catch these elusive stunning carp.

我少量多次地打窝。用了单饵、PVA网、雪人饵、底饵、半浮饵和漂浮饵。我钓了一整夜，并在入住期间休息了一会儿，去漂亮的餐厅吃了顿饭。
我还用了几次深水钓竿，顺便说一句，深水钓竿真的值得带上。
我钓到了小岛和左侧两栋小屋之间远处的芦苇丛。
我在开阔水域钓鱼。水深水区和浅水区。
对面小屋里的另外两间小屋也空手而归。不过他们只从上午晚些时候钓到日落。
这让我灰心丧气吗？不！空手而归只会让我更加坚定。所以，趁着这次机会，我们预订了四月初的第三次垂钓之旅，这次要待一周。真是自讨苦吃啊，哈哈！
不过，看看晚春时节的鱼情如何，应该会很有意思。希望天气能比十月底暖和些。
这里提供鱼竿架、抄网和鱼线袋。所以，把你的留在家里吧。鱼钩最大只能用10号。所以，多带些鱼钩。或者，你也可以在家绑好钓组。
我想下次我会把鱼饵留在家里，在前台买一些。我可能得放下身段，向渔场经理请教一下如何才能钓到这些难以捉摸的美丽鲤鱼。
