Fantastically maintained trails, so much fun
Jekyll Island Trail System的点评
点评：Jekyll bike trails are some of my all time favorites. Every beach vacation we try to find a place that also has bike trails. Jekyll is at the top of my list because you can usually just hop on a bike from wherever you are staying and land on the trail without having to first put your bike on a car rack and go somewhere. In our case, the trail was right across Beachview. So wonderful! We could head either direction and find such variety. Driftwood, Fishing pier, or Norton ruins one way. The mini golf course, Jekyll Village for ice cream or meals the other way. Or across the island to the historical district. And of course many sections you can see the ocean.
Everything is so wonderfully connected. And you feel safe on the trails, off the main road. And it's easy to cross. There are also a tremendous amount of facilities all along the way. Many public bathrooms. It's mostly flat so it's easy (except when there's a strong head wind.) It's a great trail for beginners or pros.
