Expensive Product, Poor Customer Support

点评:I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been extremely disappointing.
I purchased an outdoor SHELTA umbrella for $1700 and after only 4–6 uses a plastic component broke, leaving the umbrella unusable.
I contacted the business and supplied photos of the damage. Rather than investigating the issue properly, my claim was simply forwarded to the supplier, who concluded it was caused by excessive wind and therefore not covered under warranty. At no point was I asked when the damage occurred, how it occurred, or any questions that would allow a proper assessment to be made.
What frustrated me most was the lack of communication. I had to contact the business on several occasions just to get an answer. Taking a customer's money is the easy part. Supporting that customer when a product fails is where a business shows its true colours.
I now have a $1700 umbrella sitting unusable in my yard after only a handful of uses. For a product at this price point, and the level of after-sales service I received, I cannot recommend this business.
Very disappointed.
