点评：We did this tour to visit the castaway island (Monuriki Island where it was filmed - not the other castaway island which is just a bar)! The weather was overcast and a bit chilly. We managed to do some snorkelling which was good, it was choppy though. There was a second stop where you could do some swimming but for me, i had a quick dip but it was too cold. We had lunch which was a nice, basic selection with vegetarian options.
Check in at the marina was easy and all the staff were really friendly and checking if we needed another drink.
It was great to see where castaway was filmed and where Tom Hanks was. There are rocks there that spelt out ‘help me’ which makes a good photo opportunity.
We were on the island for over an hour, plenty of time and we just relaxed on the beach which was nice. It’s about two hours back to Port so a long day, but worth it.
I booked direct through their site and would recommend. Just to flag, the boat company organised a taxi for us from our hotel but it never turned up so our hotel sorted one for us. It may be fine for you (hopefully) but just be aware. The cost for the taxi is cheaper than it would normally be though.
