点评：I had the privilege of spending ten unforgettable days in Ethiopia with Dave, and I cannot imagine a better guide, host, and friend. From the very first moment, he went above and beyond to make me feel at home.
Our journey began in the south, exploring the beauty and cultural richness of the Omo Valley. Every day was filled with laughter, discovery, and the warmth of his company. Being with him and his friends was effortless and joyful, as if I had known them for years. Later, we ventured into the fiery landscapes of Danakil, where again Dave made the experience both exciting and deeply comfortable, even in such an extreme environment.
Dave is a person who gives his whole heart to ensure that those around him not only feel safe and cared for, but also that they truly live the adventure. He shared not only breathtaking places, but also pieces of his life, his culture, and even his language—teaching me Amharic with patience and good humor. Through his generosity and openness, he helped me realize even more how much Africans and Latin Americans share in spirit, joy, and resilience.
Thank you, Dave, for every moment, every smile, and every lesson. Thank you for reminding me that true hospitality is an art, and friendship is a treasure. I carry the hope that our paths will cross again soon.
