点评：We visited Phnom Kulen National Park as one of our final sightseeing destinations in Siem Reap. The park offers a rich blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty, making it a worthwhile day trip.
Highlights:
• River of a Thousand Lingas (Kbal Spean): A sacred riverbed adorned with intricate carvings of lingas and deities, reflecting the spiritual significance of the site.
• Preah Ang Thom: Home to Cambodia’s largest reclining Buddha statue, carved into a massive sandstone boulder, offering panoramic views of the surrounding forest.
• Phnom Kulen Waterfalls: Two main waterfalls provide a refreshing escape; the larger one is popular for swimming and picnicking.
Travel Tips:
• Footwear: Wear sturdy water shoes or sandals with good traction, especially if you plan to swim at the waterfalls. During our visit after rainfall, the riverbed was muddy, and a family member sustained a minor cut from a sharp rock, requiring several days of care.
• Clothing: Opt for light, quick-drying attire suitable for hiking and swimming. When visiting sacred sites like Preah Ang Thom, dress modestly by covering your shoulders and knees, and remove shoes and hats before entering.
• Hydration & Snacks: Bring plenty of water and some snacks, as amenities within the park are limited.
• Entrance Fee: The entrance fee is $20 per person, with no discounts for children. 
Along the journey, we enjoyed sampling local lychees and palm fruit drink and fruit, mangos from roadside vendors. Overall, Phnom Kulen offers a unique combination of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination near Siem Reap.
