A grand place with one of the biggest statues of any lord in Vrindavan

点评：Vrindavan is a temple town unlike any other, cities of India. The Vaishno Devi temple in Vrindavan is one of the most visited temple of Vrindavan.
The temple holds a glorious cave and an enormous idol of Goddess Vaishno Devi. inside the cave, one can find carvings and images of the nine avatars of Vaishno Devi.
As soon as you enter the temple, you can see lord Ganesh and in the lower part of the temple. There are descriptions of the stories of all the other gods and goddesses.
At the entrance on one side of the temple Cave flows Yamuna Maa and on the other side flows Maa Ganga, whose beautiful idols have installed either side of the main entrance.
Details about temple construction:
1. Mata Vaishno Devi Dham spreads across 11 acres and the construction work was started on 27 November 2004 and was inaugurated on 22 May 2010 by then Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Karan Singh.
2. Founded by Shri J.C. Chaudhry and managed by Jai's Trust. With J.C. Chaudhry's Vision and the assistance of experienced architect Mr. Arun Verma from Design Well India (P) Ltd., today's seen temple came into existence.
3. The temple is designed to look like the ones in Jammu with hills, caves and lots of greenery. It has cave that display idols of all nine forms of the goddess.
4. The height of the statue of Mata Vaishno Devi is 141 feet from the earth. In the Year 2013, this statue was honored as the tallest statue in the country by the Limca book of Records.
5. The Maa Vaishno Devi temple has two dharmashalas to provide accommodation to the visiting devotees. The main central hall used for meditation and adjacent to it is the Yoga hall.
