点评:Had read about Opolo in Wine articles. Found it very interesting in all they have to after (distillery, pizza, wine) even though we were most interested in the wine tasting. We do a lot of wine tastings so we can learn, and found this one somewhat disappointing. Our usual experience is to have a somewhat dedicated educator that explains the wines, the grapes varietals, where they are grown, a bit about the AVAs, soil etc. this was our first time visiting Paso Roble so we felt we had a lot we wanted to learn.
The experience was disappointing. It was basically pour at the counter and ignore ( at least they had stools versus just standing). Yes, they were short staffed, I am not sure that would have changed much with additional staff. Since everyone’s palate is different, no comments on whether we liked the wines or not, it was nice that they did allow us to taste a coup,e wives that were not on the tasting menu.
