点评：Princess Cays – Beautiful Views, Caribbean Blues, and a Few Communication Hiccups
We recently visited Princess Cays in the Bahamas during our cruise, and overall, it was a great day—just a few things could’ve been smoother.
Getting there: The tendering process from the ship was a bit unclear. Some guests had numbered stickers (we didn’t) and there wasn’t really an explanation of what they were for. We waited about 30 minutes, which wasn’t bad, but better communication would’ve helped.
The island itself? Gorgeous. The water was that signature Caribbean blue, the weather was perfect, and I couldn’t wait to jump in. The ocean was a little brisk at first, but much warmer than the Puget Sound back home (which is basically 45° year-round!), so it felt amazing.
Clamshell rental: Once we arrived, there wasn’t much guidance about where to go to claim our pre-rented clamshell for shade, but after asking around, we found our way. A quick fix, but again—a little signage or direction would’ve helped.
Stingray encounter: Around 11, we did the swimming with stingrays experience. It was interesting and fun—most of the rays had their barbs removed (except two), and we learned they were all females since they’re less aggressive. We got to feed and touch them, though the interaction was brief. Still enjoyable and educational!
Food & vibe: Some guests mentioned flies being an issue, but we didn’t have that problem. Lunch was solid—ribs, brats, burgers, salads, fruit—all served hot or cold as they should be. Four serving lines made it quick and easy.
Fun fact: All the staff on the island come from other islands—they don’t actually live on Princess Cays. I thought that was pretty interesting.
All in all, a beautiful stop with lots to enjoy. Just a little more communication from staff would’ve made the day feel even more seamless.

邂逅黄貂鱼：大约晚上11点，我们体验了与黄貂鱼一起游泳。这趟旅程既有趣又好玩——大多数黄貂鱼的倒刺都被拔掉了（除了两条），而且我们了解到它们都是雌性，因为它们攻击性没那么强。我们还有机会喂食和触摸它们，虽然互动很短暂。但仍然很有趣，也很有教育意义！
餐饮与氛围：有些客人提到苍蝇是个问题，但我们没有遇到这个问题。午餐很丰盛——排骨、香肠、汉堡、沙拉、水果——冷热皆宜，服务也恰到好处。四条服务线让一切变得快捷方便。
趣闻：岛上的所有工作人员都来自其他岛屿——他们实际上并不住在公主岛。我觉得这很有意思。
总而言之，这是一个美丽的停留地，有很多值得享受的地方。如果工作人员能多沟通一些，这一天会更加顺畅。
