点评：Flying with Yiannis Xiros, a six-time world champion in free flight, was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the very beginning, Yiannis was incredibly attentive, transmitting a sense of safety and ensuring that every second of the flight was maximized.
The adventure began at 1250 meters above sea level, at the southern part of Mount Parnassus, the highest takeoff point in Greece. The views during the flight were absolutely breathtaking: the majestic 2500-meter peaks of Parnassus loomed around us before we left them behind as we approached Delphi. We soared over the narrow canyon where Pythia, the oracle priestess, prepared her prophecies—an area that has been closed to visitors for years, making the aerial perspective even more special.
To our left, we could see the Corinthian Gulf and the Peloponnese as a stunning backdrop, while ahead, the channel of the Mornos River and the Giona Mountain unfolded. Flying over the archaeological sites and seeing them from such a unique perspective was truly unforgettable. As we passed over the city of Delphi, which appears to be suspended on a 300-meter vertical rock, I felt as though I was part of a dreamlike movie scene.
The highlight of the flight, however, was witnessing the largest olive grove in the world: 1.2 million olive trees stretching from the mountains to the sea, near the town of Itea. It’s indescribable to behold two 2500-meter-high mountains, immense vertical cliffs, archaeological treasures, the sea, and an endless expanse of olive trees—all at once and almost beneath your feet.
This flight is, without a doubt, a one-of-a-kind experience. I cannot imagine another place in the world that combines such natural beauty, history, and exhilaration in a single adventure. For anyone seeking something truly unforgettable, this is the perfect flight!
