Most disgusting establishment ever
Whipsaw Brewing的点评
点评：Tonight with 10 of my friends and myself (Hispanic) went to Whipsaw Brewery for the first time with a group of my college friends, I am 21 however I still have a vertical ID so they did not serve me (which I understand and accepted fully) It is not a 21 and up establishment so we stayed for Bingo. I only bring up my ID because it seemed like that kicked of the treatment from staff to me. I want to preface I wasn't even reallly planning on drinking so not being served was not an issue to me.About half an hour in another girl from our group went up to order something and when she came back she told me the bartender said she was going to have to kick me out due to my outfit. 1. She was upset about my shorts which where barely higher than mid thigh as i was also wearing a sweatshirt so I couldn't have been revealing that way. 2. She never came to speak to me she spoke to my friend which is unprofessional and rude. Once my friend spoke to me about this I decided to leave and spoke to her on my way out which is when she told me I was dressed to inappropriately. Mind you before that the owner of this establishment came and spoke to my whole group saying we looked underage (no one was under 21) at which point if my shorts were an issue he could have said something to me. I also spent the duration of my time here sitting at a table with my friends. I didn't even get up to use the bathroom so I am not sure how she even decided my shorts were inappropriate. Everyone else around me had basic clothing same as me. I was then told that other patrons (there were no other people of color in the establishment) were scared of me and was then asked to leave. It was all very confusing, I've never been so humiliated in my life. I don't suggest whipsaw brewery to anyone who is a person of color or is even tan.
