点评：We had a lovely experience with Amble with Anne on a heritage walk through St. Stephen’s Church, the old cemetery with English and Parsi graves, including those of Field Marshal Sam Maneckshaw and his wife Silloo, the Nilgiri Library, and the Parsi Anjuman, amongst others.
Anne is an exceptional storyteller — she shares history not as a list of dates and facts, but as living stories woven through people, places, and time. Her knowledge of Ooty’s colonial past, its communities, and hidden corners is remarkable.
The walk is unhurried, thoughtfully curated, and filled with quiet moments that help you see Ooty in a completely new way.
