Great Music, Awful Venue

点评：I went with a friend to see a band that was aimed at the more mature person. The venue advertised it as starting at 6pm so we, along with hundreds of others, arrived just before 6. By 7 we were wondering when the band would come on. At this point, there was no music, no warm up act, just lots of drinking going on around us. At 7.30 a support band came on stage. The sound was horrific and it was impossible to work out any of the lyrics. They stayed on stage for about 20 minutes and then back to silence again. By 8.20 we were seriously bored and fed up and we noticed people starting to leave. At 8.30, the expected band came on and they were brilliant, however we were so fed up and cold by this point ( the venue is a freezing warehouse) that we were past getting full enjoyment out of the evening. We had queried twice during the evening, as to what time the band would be on and we were given different timings on both occasions. The toilet facilities were poor and unclean. I doubled checked the website to see what times were published and it stated 6pm start time. There was nothing to say that doors opened 2.5 hours earlier than the show would start. A great band, but awful venue.
