NICE AREA AT THE END OF THE BIG RED BUS TOUR

点评：We did our own walking tour of the Albert Dock after we alighted from the Big Red Bus - which is where this tour starts and finishes. A number of the Liverpool tours start and finish at this location, so there are a number of different buses.
The Albert Dock area seems to be a work in progress, however from having visited this place several years ago, it has certainly improved massively. Lots of restaurants of all types abound, as well as tourist souvenir shops etc. all priced for the tourist market. It is easy to walk around - and it is quite a large area. Lots of people wandering around with dogs also which was curious as at times the uneven ground/cobbled areas posed a challenge for others, especially disabled people.
My only issue was the lack of cover at the bus area - it was raining at the time and of course everyone tried to squeeze into one normal size bus shelter while waiting for our bus - not good. Would not cost that much to put up another I am sure, considering the $ spent on other areas there.
