Wonderful Interactive experience not to be missed

点评：We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our visit to this wonderful interactive museum. The staff are lovely so welcoming & fun to talk to, the exhibits are informative, interactive, & take you on a journey through personal experiences from people that actually worked in all roles of the shearing industry.
The highlight for us was meeting & talking with Jack (Rooster) the shearer, he was such a lovely, warm, & funny guy who actually spent 33yrs professionally shearing. A wealth of real world knowledge, delivered in a considered & passionate way. Then we got to watch him actually shear a sheep, something we had seen on TV/films but in real life up close, was a remarkable & couldn’t take our eyes of him. He asked my wife to pick the sheep for shearing which was lovely & funny. His 2 dogs we beautiful kelpie’s, who loved a pat and hung around with us, until Jack started shearing them it was all business.
We had over 2 hours in the place, most of it spent with Jack and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Admission was more than reasonable with discounts for seniors.
We need to support places like this, they are not simply about the contents, but our journey historically, now & a view to the future, which hopefully gives us all pause for thought.
