Stonehaven Harbour的点评
点评：I visited Stonehaven on a cold wet day. I wandered around the shops for a short time then found myself in the market square. 1230 and the stalls were all being packed away. Pretty poor doo really. I looked at the cafes for something to eat but nothing suitable for my diet. Too many pies, chips, paninis and sandwiches. No proper food like salads or pasta etc. I ended up having a pie from greggs which I knew I shouldn't have had as it made me ill for the rest of the day. Totally ruined the day for me. I walked along the promenade to the harbour. A nice little walk. The harbour was quite nice but again the rain spoiled it. When it eventually stopped I walked along the cliff to the war memorial and the castle. It's a long way up hill and in the rain terrible. As I was at the top I carried on to the castle to find it was all downhill again to reach it then would have had to go all the way back up. Freezing cold, absolutely wet through and thoroughly miserable. Traipsed all the way back to the town. Dripping wet and in pain from lack of proper food. Not a place I will ever be revisiting. Probably a lot better on a nice day but fortunately for me I won't be trying it again. Saying that though this town was one of the better ones I have visited in the past week on my travels around Aberdeenshire.
