点评:Amazing! We had read about this place & thought we’d do a quick visit. From jaw dropping scenery to the stories told by the Nisga’a peoples this was a trip we won’t forget. We did a day tour to the volcano with Bruce from the information centre. The walk was about 3kms each way, quite strenuous in parts, stopping to sample the local berries, listening to stories about Nisga’a history & customs, a couple of “Dad” jokes thrown in while experiencing the enormity of the destruction of the volcano eruption from the late 1700’s. The Nisga’a museum was one of the best we’ve visited. A verbal tour by one of the museum attendants made our visit memorable. You came away with a sense of awe & joy knowing that the Nisga’a culture continues & thrives amongst its peoples despite all the difficulties they have had to endure. Highly recommend a visit to this area.
