Don't bother wasting your time or money!
Reef Indoor Water Park的点评
点评：Pictures online are deceiving. Hotel room and water park look amazing, not in person (kind of like a blind date). Upon immediate checkin, there was either scabs/boogers/dried blood smeared on the light switch in bathroom, eyepencil shavings also in bathroom, mold in bathroom, water damage in bathroom wall, dead little bugs sitting on top of both AC units. We went to Walmart right away and I bought Microban spray and lysol wipes to spray and wipe down as much of the room I could (I left the little bugs on the AC unit). Room will be left cleaner that im sure it ever was. Plug in socket by the desk is coming out of the wall (didn't seem safe to plug anything in). Desk chair is in bad shape (tattered and lumpy). King bed was sagging in the middle, need to be replaced. I went to get in bed and rolled right across the bed to my hubby's side as it sloped down to the middle. Breakfast is either cold or limited choices by 8am (served "hot" 6AM-10AM). Always left to have breakfast offsite. Staff are polite but seem reluctant to help solve an issue right away.
Now for the water park. "Largest indoor water park in Montana"... small for what it is claiming. 2 big slides with 1 lifeguard at the top, none at the bottom in the pool (all the slides were fun). Wave pool was closed down 3 of the 4 days we stayed. No lifeguard on duty around the kiddie waterslide splash park. 1 lifeguard on duty on the small pool. $10 if you stay with the hotel but even then not worth the charge. Only open 4pm to 9pm Sun to Wed then 11am to 9pm Thurs to Sat during summer. Oh wait... not till 9pm. They actually flip the "no lifeguard on duty" sign at 840PM and kick everyone out of the waterslide part by 845PM after they start setting up the yellow metal fence barrier to divide water park from hotel "pool and hot tub" at 825PM (this visual sign actually made a lot of people leave the water park thinking it was closing shortly at 830PM). When I asked the Supervisor on duty, he said because that's how they are scheduled. I said on Google and the hotel signs all show till 9PM. He still said they are closed at 845PM to clean up and get out of work. I explained I understood wanting to get out of work but it sounds like a management problem for ill scheduling and not on them. A female lifeguard showed me the little printed sign saying "last whistle blown 15 min prior to closure" (kind of like a Last Call in a bar). I said I heard the whistle but again before closure still means 15 min for the kids to play till 9PM since all the parents paid for that time they were robbed of. The lifeguards and Reef staff on all seemed on the younger side under the age of 25 and acted like they didn't want to be there. They were either not watching their areas or looked really unfriendly/bored to approach. I talked with hotel staff and am waiting for the Reef Manager to contact me about this.
Will never stay in this hotel or pay for watersliding at the Reef... definitely not recommending it either. Find a different hotel to stay at with a nice indoor pool and go to the outdoor waterpark, head to the Zoo (so many animals to see and shaved ice), Get Air Trampoline Park (couldn't get the kids to leave after 2 hours), and the Pizza Ranch Fun Zone Arcade (Monday is half price token days and the prizes are actually not cheap).
