点评:I did a review solely on the restaurant in December, which was really bad. This time I’m writing about the park itself and the new rules.
I was walking my baby in a pushchair and my dog round the lake as I have done for years. My dog is a well behaved 10-year-old that sticks to the path and doesn’t go in the water. But there is now a very large section of the park that has a Dog on leads policy. Now, you don’t know that until you get to the point and they have fairly small notices which I did not see. I also did not see any notices at the start of the park near either car park which states that there are new rules for Dogs. As I would’ve gone somewhere else at that point. The new rules kick in quite far through your walk around so you can’t turn back.
As I said, I didn’t see this and so was stopped by a man in a golf cart who pulled up next to my push chair and my dog walking next to me and explained the new rules.
This along with the extortionate car park prices and the horrendous café are just another reason to not go. It used to be a great place and I loved it for years but it’s really gone downhill. Their service is shocking, the way they talk to you is awful and their prices are ridiculous for what they now give.
