点评：Amith da Silva has been a brilliant tour guide. He escorted us on our tour and organised an amazing experience for us through his travel agency business, Miracle Lanka Holidays, in conjunction with ‘Tours that Teach’ from Australia. Amith is a font of knowledge about all things Sri Lankan, including its archaeology, ethnology, ethnography, flora and fauna. He was able to spot many animals and birds which we would have missed but for his keen eyes. Amith knew the names of every bird we saw. He attended to tipping, guided us through situations with expert advice, accompanied us on treks and went over and beyond what was expected of him. We stayed at his Ayubowan Homestay where Dinesha, Amith’s beautiful wife, prepared delicious, mouth watering Sri Lankan meals, equal or better to any 5 star hotel meals. Amith’s driver, Guyan, was amazing at negotiating the crowded roads and keeping us safe. Chthura, our bus assistant, greeted us with flowers every day and was all things to all people. If you want a wonderful, well priced holiday, which covers the best of Sri Lanka, book through these agencies. I am planning to come back to visit the rest of Sri Lanka. Scenery and shopping is Great!!!
