Golf trip for 8 rearranged to Gleneagles due to false advertising issue

点评：I called the hotel on Monday the 15th of September with a view to arranging a golf excursion for the 8 of us.
I spoke to Gemma in reservations who I must say was polite at all times, I only wanted to query something I read online before I went ahead with the booking, it was regarding male facilities being removed from the resort. Gemma laughed at this as it sounded so ridiculous and really I had to agree with her. She then put me through to the spa to clarify this issue, the Spa reception told me that they can confirm the male relaxation suite has been dissolved and is now unisex.
I asked to be put back through to Gemma and I made her aware of this change as in her own words “they could have informed us”.
I informed Gemma my party would have to rearrange to Gleneagles whom have subsequently confirmed to me that they have dedicated male facilities and a general respect in this area.
I also informed Gemma that the Resort information online states and I quote “there are male and female changing rooms and relaxation rooms”
This is incorrect and false advertising.
The fact the Male facilities we have enjoyed on several occasions have been dissolved is terribly silly and utterly disappointing.
We shall not be returning.
