点评：I’ve been lucky enough to visit some really beautiful places in the world, and Lochan Uaine is without doubt one of the most stunning places I’ve ever seen. It really is quite magical, and we could have quite happily spent the whole day here just taking it all in.
We visited a couple of weeks ago (mid-October) and got really lucky with the weather. But I have no doubt this Loch is exquisite no matter the weather.
We parked at the Glenmore Forest Park Visitor Centre and walked from there. It took us around 45 minutes each way. The path itself is relatively flat and easy to navigate. Along the way you’ll probably meet lots of lovely dogs to say hello to, which is always a good thing!
Only negative thing is the unfortunate behaviour of some visitors who leave their rubbish behind. I think we are all aware nowadays of the negative impact plastic bottles have on the environment and wildlife, but I saw several discarded plastic bottles - which I picked up and took with me. Please take your rubbish with you so we can enjoy natures natural beauty for years to come.
