点评：If you LOVE trains . . . GO! We did two different historic steam train tours (on two different types of steam trains) in two days. Both tours were approximately 5 hours each. One went up the mountain to Bald Knob and their other to the tiny town of Durban. Now, let me say this . . . If you’re trying to ensure that you can make a deadline (say dinner reservations) this is probably not a great idea on that day. These are ANTIQUE, historic trains run by actual humans. Things may not always work perfectly. Exact schedules don’t truly fit this profile. This is a RELAX and your leave attitude at home kind of day. Everyone is on board to enjoy themselves, not to hear about someone missing a dinner reservations because the trip is taking longer than expected. Our crews both days were great people who worked very hard to ensure everyone had a great trip. WE certainly did. I DO recommend ear protection . . . Especially for the open-air train to Bald Knob. This includes ear protection for children.
