点评:I entered the UNESCO visiting centre and asked about a tour in English. That day there wasn't such a tour but people there took my phone and the next day the tour was organized even though I was the only person asking for that. It's amazing to see all the buildings and learn about the Olivetti's philosophy and ideas. In my opinion it's a pitty that their works are not translated (most of them) and not spread worldwide. Their work was unique with care for everybody and forming a community - not only an Italian but also international one including not only the management but the workers, artists, engineers, researchers etc. All the people working for them knew foreign languages, read international newspapers and had the opportunity to read books and attend the events such as discussions, music events etc. You can also see how Olivetti thought about the light entering the rooms and feel the close connection with the nature. The whole complex is unique and I recommend to get a guided tour and you will be amazed, too. There is also a museum of technology where you can see the typewriters and computers, also understand the ompany's connection with NASA. If you want there is a possibility to type something. I was inspired by Olivetti's work and life.
