Sad looking, awful afternoon tea.

点评：Booked afternoon tea at Browns. I don’t normally complain or write reviews, but this was the worst one I’ve ever had! Cheap white bread (only got three tiny triangles each), they looked lost on the plate. Plain and fruit scone (no cheese scone as described on menu), I’m sure these were from a supermarket multi packet - very dry. One tiny wrapped portion of butter between 4 scones, a tiny plastic portion of jam each and no cream (which was listed on menu). A cheap Viennese whirl and biscuit each from a multi pack and a few tiny, tiny sweet things. The staff never checked on us to see if everything was ok, otherwise I’d have asked for some more butter! Very poor! My friend and I were too polite and just ate most of it and paid. Our other friend saw an ant on hers and refused to eat anything. We were told the afternoon tea is brought in. I suggest they change their provider because this was awful and didn’t match the menu! Shame because the setting is lovely,
翻译：我在布朗餐厅预订了下午茶。我通常不抱怨也不写评论，但这绝对是我吃过最差的下午茶！廉价的白面包（每人只有三小块三角形面包），放在盘子里显得格外不起眼。原味司康和水果司康（菜单上写的是奶酪司康，但实际上并没有），我敢肯定这些司康是从超市买的多包装里拿出来的——非常干。四块司康之间只夹了一小包黄油，每人只有一小包果酱，而且没有奶油（菜单上明明写着有奶油）。每人只有一块廉价的维也纳酥饼和一块饼干，也是从多包装里拿出来的，还有一些非常非常小的甜点。服务员从来没来问过我们是否一切都好，不然我肯定会再要一些黄油！太差劲了！我和朋友出于礼貌，还是吃完了大部分，然后付了钱。我们的另一个朋友在她的司康上看到了一只蚂蚁，就什么都吃不下了。服务员告诉我们下午茶是外卖送来的。我建议他们换个供应商，因为这次的下午茶太糟糕了，和菜单上的描述完全不符！真是可惜，因为餐厅的环境其实很不错。
