Very welcoming, with much to offer

点评：I hadn't visited for many years - and my partner had never been here - and couldn't recall much about the place but we were passing and in need of a pit-stop. I was also curious to see what was on offer. The antique centre is only a short distance from the A90 and well sign-posted.
The Cart Shed restaurant was atmospheric and cosy - we sat at a table beside a big log burner - and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The menu had several items of interest but, having missed breakfast, we both opted for the vegetarian breakfast, which was excellent. The cakes looked VERY tempting - I don't think I've ever seen millionnaire shortbread so thick! - but breakfast was enough for us on this occasion so we'll need to return to sample the cakes on a future visit. There's also The Bothy coffee shop, although we didn't try it.
The antique centre itself is well worth a visit. It's a series of Alladin's caves, packed with treasures and, literally, something for everyone. As in the Cart Shed, all the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
I'm so pleased to have returned: it didn't disappoint, indeed, it impressed on every level and we look forward to looking in when passing again.
