The Cookabarra Team, the venue, food and tour all exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

点评：We took our visitors here for lunch followed by a tour. We all agreed that it was exceptional. The setting is attractive and we enjoyed watching the koi in the fishpond that runs for the length of the verandah. There is inside or outdoor dining and the food was delicious and nicely presented. We particularly appreciated the fact that our host thought to ensure our order was in before he attended to a large group. I noted that they also didn't have to wait long for their meals. We were impressed by the staff who were were very busy but remained cheery, friendly and professional. The tour was equally impressive. Graham has a background in both agriculture and fisheries and provided interesting information in an entertaining way. He is passionate about the farm and I can see why, it's a clever concept providing delicious food in a sustainable manner. Their website is excellent and has all the details you need plus the menu (which is quite varied to suit all tastes). I chose to book over the phone, staff were busy and couldn't answer. Understandable. I didn't leave a message so was pleasantly surprised to get a return call straight away. At Cookabarra they attend to all the small details ensuring a positive and friendly experience. Many restaurants and tourist destinations could learn a lot from Team Cookabarra.... and what a wonderful name :)
