点评:We called here on the advice of a local from Chapel en le Frith, who we met over in Chesterfield. This after asking if there were any 'good pubs' where he lived. (That should always be your first question to a stranger) We called on a Sunday afternoon, the sun was shining, so we sat outside. The young lady was so welcoming, friendly and happy to tell us about the place. We even got to see the old cell down below. The place is full of character and real charm. On draught was Timothy Taylors 'Golden Best', a new one to me, Boltmaker or Landlord being my usual tipples. Now that was a nice pint. It's a small pub that I'm told gets quite busy, this isn't surprising, although quiet on this afternoon. It's not a food pub but a genuine blast from the past, a proper pub. I believe they have their own brewery there. We'll definitely call back when around the area.
