East Sands Beach的点评
点评：Despite being only about half a mile long, this beach is I reckon , just as popular as lengthier West Sands.
It’s bordered by the harbour at one end, Kinkell Braes at the other, and alongside it is part of the Fife Coastal Path.
Although mostly sandy, it does have stony areas, and rock pools worth investigating at low tide.
It’s a designated bathing beach with excellent water quality, and last year (2023) was one of the winners of “ Keep Scotland Beautiful Beach Award” 🏅
East Sands Leisure Centre can be found beside it, plus there’s also a spacious free car-park, cafe, toilets , and a children’s play-park.
The views from the walkway alongside the beach has superb views looking over the historic buildings of the medieval town, and plenty of benches to sit and admire the sea-views.
