A nice place to spend a couple of hours on a lazy day

点评：On a sunny day in August I visited The distillery on the off chance of a tour.
The Welcome desk, housed in a different building from the tour start point, was very smart and a lovely person held fort with a warm and friendly welcome.
I was allocated the last space on the Noon tour, but had to rush as I had to go back down the hill to the starting desk in the other building.
Andrew was my guide, he first gave us a brief on the history and the we wandered through the distillery.
All in all the tour was ok, but I didn’t buy a bottle as a little more than what I would pay for a non age statement bottling- perhaps paying for the glass more than the whisky.
It’s an interesting experience to kill a lazy couple of hours.
Maybe next time I’ll stop for lunch in its posh restaurant that looked beautiful.
Ps. Amazing toilets!!!
