点评:Was lucky to be in Darwin on a Saturday so discovered the thing to do was go to Parap Market. After short (and free) bus trip from downtown we walked a few minutes wondering what we were getting our tourist selves into but soon came upon the bustling Parap Market. Lots of locals, lots of stalls and lots of food. We started with an excellent coffee at Mad About Coffee and then I read that Mary's Laksa was the thing to buy. So off we went questioning whether we were really going to eat Laksa for breakfast?! Seems we were in good company as the queues spoke for themselves. Mostly locals too. Mary's Laksa was delicious - between us we had the Seafood and Special (everything) and both were amazing. A creamy thick borth that was not too spicy and localed with fresh ingredients and noodles. I've been craving more since and am very frustrated I live in the UK!
Had a lovely chat with local family Sue, Pete and son Bill who were buying Mary's Laska to take home. Wish I lived nearer than 14000 km away! If I did I'd be here every Saturday morning too.

我们还和当地人苏、皮特以及他们的儿子比尔聊得很开心,他们正准备买玛丽叻沙带回家。真希望我住得近一些,不用离这里14000公里那么远!如果住得近的话,我每个星期六早上也会来这里。
